No problem, flowmom. This is an area where I feel like I can provide some useful information.
I've tried many different types of medication, and some have worked better than others. The one I take now is the latest and greatest, and it's the best one I've taken in the 12 or so years I've been medicated. Like any other kind of medication of this sort, it's trial and error for the best dosage. It's all been worth it to me, though, because of the improvements to my mental health and my life in general.
If you get a chance to check out the book I suggested, then you'll likely come up with some questions. For now, I'll just be on standby.
Sorry, no info here... although I do have ADOS. (Attention Deficit - Oh, Shiny!)
Sorry, bad joke in my family. Lots of kids in this family have ADD - good luck if that's your problem. There are some great natural ways to deal with it also, although I don't know if that applies to adults.
3 things I did yesterday that made me happy - chanted 5 min - made a yummy + easy soup (prawns boiled in chicken stock, add hot sauce, lime juice and chopped tomato, avocado, cilantro and green onion just before serving) - laughed, a lot
3 things I did today that made me happy - petal-collecting walk under a dramatic sky with my D3 - a short visit with my best friend where we covered all topics from Farrow and Ball paint to marriage - 5 min chanting

Children said that H might get a cat. He's never expressed any interest in pet ownership before. I guess that's the classic consolation prize for children of divorce...finally getting to have the pet that they've been wanting for years.

FM- good for you for doing those things for yourself, esp getting outside. I wish I could, but my allergies are horrendous. I'm glad you are doing little things for yourself, to please yourself.
Weird about the cat- I can totally see my H doing stuff like that to "win over" D if we live separately. I'm trying not to worry about things that haven't happened yet, but it makes me nervous- like that his future house will be more fun than mine or something.
Anyway, I hope you carve out some time for yourself this weekend and enjoy the weather--
When the men on the chessboard Get up and tell you where to go; And you've just had some kind of mushroom And your mind is moving slow; Go ask Alice... I think she'll know.
Kids love animals, we have two cats and my daughter loves playing with them even when she gets scratched all the time. As a kid I always wanted a dog but never got one. I still sometimes wonder if I should one especially since D's been wanting a new pet lately but from what I hear taking care of a dog is like taking care of a 3yo for the next 7 years then the heart-break when it dies and to fill the void you get another one and the cycle doesn't stop...
