Thank you for asking, mindfull.
Practice was "meh". Pipe major was in a bad mood. Not everyone showed up. I thought the band tuning was way sharp, which bums me out. However, I picked up a new student and gave him a lesson. He will start officially on Monday. He has had a bad experience with a previous piping teacher and he said he could tell I was very patient. But when it comes to my D sitch, I feel anything but.

I really love the guys in the group, though. They have been super supportive of me. I was really surprised at that. You really find out who your friends are at times like these.

I am collecting boxes right now and making an inventory on what needs moving. I wish I had all weekend to do it. It will probably take about three days. And I can't do it Saturday. My family is taking me out for my birthday. I guess I didn't mention my 40th birthday is next week! It probably won't come up, but what do I do if she wants to do something for my birthday?

My plan is to get started and have a firm plan by Sunday.

I have the similar issue. My W birthday as well. I would like to do nothing or maybe a shoe box filled with coal. Lol. I won't do that.
I will get a generic card signed by kids and I, this was advised on here for valentines day. No I love u on the card. A small gift from the kids. This is tough I know.
