So R and I have been texting a little every day. Today he asked me when we were doing to do some of those things on our 'list'...while we were eating we each talked about things we liked to do and noticed some things in common (golf, independent films, piano bar, bookstores, etc etc).
So I told him a couple of times I was free...
He replied back: "My treat?"
Mind you, I still don't know if it was a date or a friend thing, so I didn't know how to reply...
I said, "You don't have to do that! I can pick up my end..."
He replies: "I don't mind if you don't"
I wasn't sure if he meant he didn't mind paying or he didn't mind if I paid, so I just replied, "Ok then"
So he texted back, "Depends on how u want to handle it"
So, what am I supposed to do? I am fine with paying my way, however in a dating scenario I would want the guy to pay sometimes...I don't know if he is asking bc he is trying to figure out what I think it is...
