Day trips are good! Quite far for a day trip, though! The point I was making was... YOU CAN DO IT! Don't be intimidated by doing it alone. Think about the one on one time D6 will get! You'd be more apt to teach her more, talk to her more, etc... than if you would have gone as a family.
Frankly, w/all that's gone on, have you even dated anyone in all of this over the past three years? You're too fun to be stuck at home.
