Today is blowing up in my face. S14's phone isn't working but it does look like he dropped it at some point and I need to call and find out if that is covered or not. Then S17's car wouldn't go into gear. Had to race around like a mad woman trying to get him to school, girls to the bus stop and myself ready for work in less than 20 minutes!!
Aw well, days like today let you know that you are alive. I will be checking transmission fluid first and go from there. I think I preffered Branson and the craziness.

I owned an automatic once and after hours and hours of labor and questions, I discovered to my chagrin that there is a fuse that deals with the gear lock on some cars. Stupidest freaking little thing and I got stranded for a day and was panicked that my car would be towed cuz I couldn't stay parked there.
Yet another reason I will never ever buy another automatic. Too many freaking parts.

Yes it is. A fuse? Hum...we have bought several extra. Will have to take a look at that too and see if there is something to that. Always willing to try anyhow.

Did I read right, you were touching throughout the evening? I would say that is a good sign too.
During the movie R & I would occasionally whisper an observation/comment to each other. A few of these times he brushed my hand when he said something and I about fell out of my chair...harmless or not it has been awhile...pitiful huh?
Hope you get the car situation under control! I know nothing, my dad works at a dealership so he has always been my go-to guy. Once in college before driving home I tried to check the oil in my beater car and couldn't see any on the stick. Thought I did something wrong and drove home....with almost NO oil in the car!!! After that it was a science...every 254 miles I had to add a quart of oil...
I thought this was funny. K said he has this thing where he has to wash his hands before he eats(not a bad compulsion actually) so I asked him what would happen if I grabbed his hands after he got back and before he ate. He said he would have to just wash them again.
Anyway he gets back to the table. I grab his hand and am holding it for a bit and he just smiled and said he would use his other hand. LOL
When I say touching it wasn't like grabbing each other or anything it was just that we were constantly close to each other and we didn't bother to move away. Even when we sat down for dinner we were touching and he gave my knee a squeeze.
Can I go back to last Thursday??

I did text him once we got back to the hotel and thanked him for an awesome night. He texted back "likewise!" I do think it was pretty cool that he was willing to meet up even with the kids. Like I said they really liked him. During dinner while we were talking D11 kept wanting to talk to him. She would say Mommy wait, I want to tell K something. It was too funny.

Sometimes like to read the boards , check up on others,but I read something you wrote on someone else thread here yesterday, and without going into detail ( because I am really sick of the meaness and terrible remarks I have read about people assuming things with whats going on with , well lets say our political climate right now lol)
I thought your comments were so classy- they made me smile, without being mean or judgmental , you stated your opinion, one of which I obviously agree! lol and I hope others follow your example.
Sounds like your dating?? Good for you, I was D in '06 after years of fighting for my M and mlc ex , and am now engaged to a wonderful man! So there are a few of us w/ happily ever after stories, well so far! lol
