SpankSpank! Who said I was stopping? I'm just getting going! Let me tell you something... (Actually, this is one of H's mini-complaints over the years, so don't use it against me.) Once I get started on something, I'm not happy until it's a freakin' obsession. When I started playing tennis again, after retiring after Northwestern, I had to play five times a week, not a cute pick-up game. When I started weight training, after I played tennis five times a week, I did it until I blew out my shoulder (that I had worn down from so many years of too low ball tosses!).
I'm no quitter!
If I was a quitter, H would have been kicked to the curb LONG ago!
I'm doing DAY ONE, WEEK SIX today (warm-up, cool down, w/three eight minute runs in the middle, and a one-minute brisk walk in between), and by DAY THREE, WEEK SIX (warm-up, cool down, w/a 24 minute run in the middle).
I'm registered for an event, but may not be able to make it due to THE LITTLE MEN and a tournament they're playing in, but there are plenty!
Remember, I feel STRONG when I run, and it's not bad for the as$ either! I saw a glute (!) the other day in the mirror!
