On wednesday its H's birthday. He is coming past to take sons out for pizza (I am not invited - didnt expect to be). Anyway I am going to do a 180 and also a 'what if'. I will put on my happy face, say happy birthday, give him a big hug and give him the birthday gifts from my sons that we bought together.
Good for you! That's good parenting IMO. It's important for children to see their parents' birthdays celebrated.
