New plan sounds good. I love that you're taking charge of the situation! Knowledge is power so know everything you can. It makes the options less scary. And dog training sounds about right.
I'm going to troll ebay for Lucy and lululemon apparel...

Ok... Someone ask me why I have a kick in my step? LoL.
Just was doing a light run/walk @ the soccer fields during S13's training, and an adult MALE asked me if I wanted to learn how to chip balls! (I admired his bag as I walked by. It was pink!). I told him, "Sorry, I only bust them!". .
I know I should be nicer!

Yesterday, I found my driver. I hit three drives about 270 in the fairway. The right fairway, even. There was a bit of a tailwind on them, but not a huge amount! It's a bit weird to hit a lob wedge second shot on a 340 yard hole. Somehow, I still managed to shoot 101, but it was a lot of fun!
I would find the game very upsetting it I wasn't playing for fun! When I took some lessons last summer the guy said I should be shooting 90 or less. I think he was right, I just have to cut out the really bad shots. I've been seeing more flashes of it lately, I am ever hopeful!
mindfull, I'm excited that you have a plan of attack .
The snarkiness is a tough one. I managed to cut back on that in the last couple of years, but I'm not proud that I've done that a lot . For me it was a passive-agressive way to express my distress that my needs weren't being met. Anyway, it was a habit. So calling your H on it every time is a good call. Also, getting the feedback in a gentle way would have helped me...getting snarked back never gave me a reason to stop (I cut back because I made the choice to change my behaviours). It would have also helped me to get some affection or softness after the feedback about my snarking, so that I didn't feel that horrible "being in the doghouse" feeling. Anyway, I don't know if any of that applies to your sitch, but I just thought I'd share that.

I was just asked (today) to play in a ladies tennis league this Spring. I told them I'd be an alternate. I played at NW for three years, until I ended up injured... Had surgery later in life, and still can play okay. But, NOTHING like before.
Funny, I started playing because I liked the skirts! LoL Then, it became an obsession.
