If it makes you feel any better at all, what you've gone through is a warning to me, and I appreciate it. Our situations are vaguely similar, and there is a definite possibility that my W will come begging if her life situation degrades much more. I am now finally in a place where I won't be swayed by her obvious manipulations. If I were to let her come back, I am 90% sure it would go something like what happened with you, and I would end up right back where I am, after another dose of emotional turmoil of course.
