Just got home from grandson's bday party. H was a no show. He sneaked a card and gift in the SS & DIL's door and early this morning. Didn't knock or anything. The kids and I had a nice time. H's exW was there with her BF. Talked with her quite a bit. Luckily, she didn't ask where H was and when DIL read the card from us (grandma, uncle and aunt, no mention of grandpa)out loud, I held my breath waiting for questions but there weren't any!!! Phew! H's ex noticed my weight loss and complimented me! My DIL has and uncle who divorced a couple of years ago and he and his ex are slowly working on getting back together! They were there...was nice to see that. She had still been invited to their family functions and she usually did come. They have 3 kids together.
Ran to the home improvement store to get paint and went ahead and got a new area rug while I was there! Can't wait to paint so I can put new bedding on and rug down! It is going to be so cozy!!!
