Just finished DAY THREE, WEEK FIVE of Couch to 5k. 21 minutes of solid running today, w/a warm-up and cool down. Surely, this ends soon? smile

Family birthday celebration for S13 this evening @ a great restaurant. Psyched! Everyone in the house is napping... This is nice!

Mind

I am VERY impressed. Way to go, girl!!!! I am sore from ABS work, my least favorite part of working out but a necessary evil. I really want a strong core.

Hey, I may try this 5k thing. It has always been a way back in the reccesses of my mind kind of goal. Wayyy back. I am not what you would call a natural born runner. I am a natural born sleeper.

Oh, great dress. I am sure you looked absolutely fabulous!!

handfull. when you finish the program you should run a 5 km race... And pass the finish line.... Trust me on this....

And.... Once your done the program keep with 5km 3 times a week for the 4 weeks after the program.... Then start training for 10 km

MF, love the dress!

And I just did week 5, day 1 today. There's 21 minutes of running on day 3??? Crap, I don't know if I'm ready for that yet. Definitely sign up for a race. I'm doing one on April 25 so the pressure to train is really on!

Hey, Kara - THANKS!!! I think I'll be moving on to abs after this Couch to 5k deal... I'm slimming down, but a bit jiggly (quite the visual, eh? LOL)

I'm not a natural born runner either... In fact, my H always jokes that I don't run unless I'm being chased w/a weapon!

Glad you liked the dress! I did, too. It was really comfortable, too. My neck is still sore from all of the head spins! (DUMB)

Chatter -

I'm signed up - And, it's the week after I finish the program. My D18 and her BFF want to do it w/me, as well as one of my best "mom" friends. But, I'm pretty sure that I would want to go it alone, as I need to concentrate the first time, I think. Also, I'm not sure if you can tell, but I'm a talker! And, I can't imagine trying to talk and run!

I'll keep the training up. I can't imagine stopping now. I like the results! smile

Pearl!

THANKS on the dress. Warning to anyone that buys it... it encourages being over served!

Yea, Day Three was, 5 min warm-up, 21 min run, and 3 min cool down. My dog was looking at me like... "REALLY?"

I think the one I'm doing is around that date. I'm psyched! I may need a new outfit! LoL

Pearl -

Did you get the runners leggings, like tights? I just bought some last week, and then it got warm. Not sure I'm fond of the leggings look w/out something covering my rear, but I won't be wearing a big T! I do have limitations... No BIG T's! So, all I have are fitted Coolmax kind of stuff, and zero rear coverage there! LoL I'm probably just paranoid, and who the hel# cares? I can't see behind me anyhow!

Reminds me of that line...

I hate to see her leave, but I love to watch her go!
