Don't care that you doubt it. It was the truth. If you care to look back you will see that when I first posted I mentioned that I had not posted much in a while , but the tone of your posts had brought me out of the woodwork. Believe what you want; I don't care. I know the truth. I know you weren't able to answer in a civil or less agressive way as I requested; although you maintain that you can. I would love to see the proof.

Stop squealing this like a stuffed pig - you seem to have a real problem with Lotus....and she with you.....but that makes you attack others and try and hammer them down with your posts. Perhaps that is why this attack is so one sided. Read the whole thread back through. You might see then why you got some of the responses you did.

You appear to try to brow beat others if they disagree with you, (I am not including the Lotus exchanges in this as that all just got so petty on both sides).

This thread could offer so much more - why not let it?

STUCK pig, Saffie. STUCK pig.

A STUFFED pig cannot squeal at all.

I know, "Get stuffed, Kimmie!" said Saffie......

My goodness! That is terrible! What did he die of?

He was diagnosed with bone cancer shortly before Christmas. He never came out of hospital again.

How did you cause her horse to throw her? Or is it just that nothing can be the pony's fault because she loves him?

Nah, it was down to me. After we had been out for pretty long ride, when we then turned the horses out in the field for the day to graze, my D decided to ride her pony bareback, and with just a headcollar on through the pasture. Stupidly I couldn't resist childishly chirruping at the pony as I knew it would make him go faster.......and off my D tumbled- stupid, stupid me{where's the banging the head against a brick wall icon when you need it}?

Maybe it is said differently over there. Does nit picking mean the same?

Well, I hope she wasn't hurt! Poor girl. I hear riding bareback is one of the great thrills of having horses. my daughter loves horses too. We never bought one, but she has her saddle and all her gear. She claims when she gets time she will go to a stable and ride again. But seeing how she has a plate and screws in her wrist already, I hate the thought of it!

This is my last post on this thread. Go back and read two things:

1) Your first post, Lotus -- your very reason for starting the thread. It was A PERSONAL ATTACK, mostly on Allen, but also on me, Robx, Gucci, McQueen -- the "hardliners." All Allen did was DEFEND himself -- or, more accurately -- his POSITIONS (Harley, et al).

2) Note where I, Puppy, personally had Kum-ba-ya'd everyone yesterday, after I felt it was getting nasty and out of hand, and had pretty much ended it. Then look at who re-conflagrated -- it wasn't me, and it wasn't Allen. THE FIRE WAS OUT.

I'm done with the debate. I'm here to help Newbies, and Newcomers was pretty much where I had settled anyway, and that's where I shall return. The sad thing is, these people who are shouting down Allen, are NEVER AROUND TO HELP THESE FOLKS. Go back and look at his activity over the past month: he's provided 90% of the help to people in the Infidelity forum!!! And not just short, mirthful, snarky comments like I do -- long, drawn-out stuff where he really takes the time and puts in the effort. Yeah, I think his style is a little abrupt, and he comes across sometimes as a little thin-skinned and beats a dead horse to death, but he's HELPING people, when, frankly, no one else -- including the long-since-gone moderators -- was doing it on Infidelity! As DQ had to be to SSM forum, Allen has had to carry this thing by himself. And for that, he gets ATTACKED.

It's sickening, and frankly, you guys should all be ashamed of yourselves.

Puppy

Now THIS is a classy response, thank you everyone for the support, and I apologize for my digressions, and yes, I have and still do admit I could have been more delicate, but I hadn't realized until puppy put this up that I was not the only target of this Attack Thread.

I am sorry anyone got offended by this nonsense.

Yes, Saffie. Nit-picking means the same.

Although we use "pissed" to convey irritation, while you probably use it to describe drunkeness.

Interesting language, English.

Sure is Kimmie. Plus I thing a live pig squeals loads when it is alive and stuffed: stuffed into a pen, stuffed into line at the abbattoir wink

We also use pissed to convey irritation and alcohol intoxication - depending on context. Fag and fanny pack have completely different meanings though - lol

AA,

"The "Indiana" was uncalled for. It's blatant name-calling."

I was just quoting a line from Indiana Jones. No context behind it at all.

You are touchy.

I must say this is a very fast moving thread. Happy Friday everyone.

"abbattoir" *shiver*

Saffie, we had shag carpets and shag haircuts in the 70's. What were they called in the UK?

Hmmmm- well I can remember shag carpets too - not so good at remembering the haircuts, (me being a mere baby then - wink ,wink), but of course shagging, or to have a shag, means something else over here too.

Back to the pigs....they used to stuff them in beds in Elizabethan times, prior to going to bed, to try and get the fleas out of the beds - nice eh? Pig poop or fleas - what a choice!!!!!!
