I understand what you mean about competing ....with their dad's house. Although I'm still with my parents until this is final and I can rely on some support I too feel as though in my son's eyes my STBXH is 'super/disney dad'. It's tough when your spouse (ex) or not is with someone else I think. For me I don't know ...maybe there will come a point in life when it won't hurt to see him with someone else but ..... try to not dwell too much on that receipt you found. But the mind does wonder....
