Ok....vent....sorry folks. I'm feeling pretty ticked off right now.
My cousin's daughter had a baby this morning. WONDERFUL NEWS! The pissy part is that she is in the same hospital as my mom, one floor up, nearly directly above her. Why is this a problem. It isn't exactly since I got to go up there and hold the hours old infant for over an hour and enjoy his sweet baby-ness. What makes me mad is that half of my darned family is there visiting the baby but could one of her nieces or nephews be bothered to take 10 minutes to ride down the elevator one floor and visit their aunt? No. Not one of them. It's really sad especially considering that these are the same people that my mom helped raise to some extent.

She is not doing well at all. She now has an altered mental state. My mother has never been altered....not ever. This is scaring the hell out of me. I don't know what to do next and I feel so helpless and completely alone. This royally sucks.
Dang, I need a hug in a bad way right now. I'm shaking so hard it feels like I'm coming out of my skin.

Mish, sorry to hear about your mum, I hope it might be something as simple as a "water" infection my mum had that once and it made her very odd! You must look after yourself though,like Donna said. ((((()))))
How is today going? Also could your mom be dehydrated? When my grandma had a high fever/bladder infection and got dehyrdrated, she was very disoriented. Any scans to see about strokes? Can't remember if you posted about that yet...
