I'm not saying it can't be done. I'm saying I've personally never seen it, whereas I HAVE seen the opposite approach work, quite well.

OfficerInNeed is a perfect example of hard ball effectively pushing back an affair.

I think that one is on the way out the door in his case... and he nailed it by being a hard-a$$ and NOT trusting her "It's over" stuff...

Trust and Forgveness didn't end that affair.

PS : I have never seen it either, nor read an infidelity expert who has any confidence in that approach.
