Bummer K! Well, between the Wii Fit Plus, Your Shape, and Walk It Out I've got the workout to video down. Pretty awesome!

Mom is not doing well at all. I think I'm going to have to call an ambulance to come and take her to the hospital tomorrow. She can't move much, stand, walk, or even sit up for more than a few minutes. It happened so suddenly that I was thinking she might have had a stroke but she doesn't have any other symptoms of stroke. She can't get to dialysis and she can't miss anymore or she'll start drowning in her own fluids.

I'm trying to get the ambulance stuff sorted. Since it's a non-emergency I can't use 911. I had to call her Dr.'s office and wait for a call back. They still haven't called me but it's only been about 30 minutes. If I don't hear from them in the next 15 minutes though I'm calling them again. They go to lunch for an hour and a half at noon. MUST BE NICE!

GAG GAG GAG!

I'm just hoping I don't lose my job over this. I don't know if they will let me use vacation time for this since it's unplanned. They changed all the rules this year and now you can't use vacation time in emergencies. Maybe I can convince them to make an exception. I can't afford to lose pay.

We'll see....one thing to worry about at a time.

I hope you were able to get your Mom situated and taken care of. How crazy are some of the medical hoops they require us to jump through?

We're at the hospital. I looked like I was moving in with the amount of bags I was carrying.

They have no idea what is causing all of this, why the onset was so sudden, and what to do about it. My mother.....the medical mystery.

They are going to do x-rays since she fell on Sunday, they need to send her for dialysis since she has missed her last two treatments, and then I don't know what they are going to do. Frankly, I hope they keep her here for a few days. There is no way I can get her back into the house since she can't walk. The only wheelchair I have is too big to fit through any of the doorways in the house.

Struggling as usual, but keeping my head up.
