By Wednesday... everything, except the plane ticket (which they apparently can't or won't do) will be in my maiden name.

Absolutely hang on to the old driver's license and take a copy of the divorce decree with you showing the name progression. They will give you nothing but hassles at the airport about this. Security is becoming more and more strict by the day. Trust me.....I'm a corporate travel agent. You wouldn't believe the hoops I've had to help some people through when they've had name issues at the airport. the airlines will never change a name on an issued ticket. The systems are set up so that it can't even be done. The airlines are a power all of their own and play by their own rules anyway. Don't try to make sense out of it...it's a losing battle!
