How much longer in Separated?

Great weekend, spent with my Dad and brother at a worship conference. Got to hang out with Lincoln Brewster and Kari Jobe, very cool people. Also, one of my best friends is playing guitar in Kari's band now, and I didn't even know it. Crazy to run into him in San Antonio.

I have to admit it was hard to get to know these nationally-known artists, when I really want to be doing what they're doing. Hard to stay content.

W texted a few times Friday night while I was driving, then called Saturday. I ducked out of the conference, surprised she was calling during a family weekend. She was feeling terrible and ended up sleeping all day after calling me.

Sunday I went to a Dallas hockey game. The day was absolutely beautifual, really enjoyed the ride in from Austin and more riding after the game. It was nice to have an extra hour before sunset. Spring, finally! Talked with W for about an hour before going to bed early. She had a much better day Sunday and enjoyed the family time.

After I let her go, she called back 20 minutes later, saying sarcastically she had exciting news. A guy from my previous band has gone and made it big in Nashville, his band is called Love and Theft. W said Target has exclusive autographed LnT CD's. She laughed about it. She's always skeptical and sarcastic of musicians, especially if she knows them.

I told her I've decided to root for Brian to make it even bigger, just to prove her wrong. I told her when he makes it on her beloved Perez Hilton site, then I'll make her eat her words. LOL. It was a nice talk.
