OK, had a flat tire this am, pulling out of the driveway... that was fun. Dad swooped in to help! The boys were celebrating because they "got" to miss chapel... (how wrong is that?). Took the tire to get changed, and it could be fixed...

DIDN"T NEED THAT TWO HOUR PROJECT!!!

Spent the next three hours putting in data into a new CRM we are purchasing... THREE HOURS ON ONE CUSTOMER! AyeAyeAye... And, no I don't hunt and peck!

Did the three-mile walk w/the dog, and listened to the best podcast from my church. Walked longer because I wanted to finish!

NOW, off to shower and meet the BFF for dress shopping for an hour before pick-up from school! (The dress I wanted only came in a 4 or 14! POOP!) Back to the drawing board!

Be good, everyone!!!

Sorry bout the car--

Funny how shirt happens when everything else does.

Two weeks ago I had to jump my car 5 times in 3 days, then took it in for the battery and had to do SO MUCH MORE.

Sorry bout the dress...

One hour for dress shopping? That's not much time! Hope you're having a nice spring day like we are here.

LOL! Good Mornin'!

Hey, guys, just so you know, I'm not being rude... smile

But, I've been handed two more work projects, and I'll be super busy for the next month, at least...

AND the boys start their Spring season for soccer, which means, training every night, one weekday night a week for a game an hour away, games home and away on weekends, and tournaments! Oh, and S12 (ALMOST S13) runs track for school, as well.

So, if I can't check in as much, or can't check in on your as much, you know why.

I'll still have the alt up when appropriate to interrupt during the day, though!!! Can't be THAT good!

(Did I mention my house needs some attention!? Closets, drawers, cabinets, st... EEEK!)

Thank you, Lost! More work to be done, though... always!

WARNING - WHINER ALERT

So, H was been a royal PITA this weekend. Hardly got any sleep this week (while gone for work), and woke up a PITA yesterday. Couple that w/me having a stomach virus... and he doesn't do well w/me being sick. He's not a caregiver type. (However, he did buy four cases of Gatorade!) At one point during the am, he was in the kitchen while I was making the family lunch, and he starts on his checklist of things he thinks I should be getting done. (To tell you all the God's honest truth, it's everything in my power just to handle the boys and do a passable effort of my job, with him traveling all week, AND, I'm convinced, even though I come across happy, etc..., that I really am dealing w/some severe depression. I can't concentrate. If I have to start a project, and one I don't really like, I become paralyzed.) So, I just let him go through his checklist, and gave him my "updates," but, honestly, not w/the most enthusiastic of response. At one point, he said, "Just give me the xxxxxx, and I'll just take care of it." I told him, "Thanks, I have a lot on my plate. Go ahead."

The day improved, but since I wasn't feeling well, I went to sleep early (which he was annoyed by).

So, this am, he and S10 were going bowling w/family. S12 stayed home and slept in. H wakes up, again w/the mood, and it appeared anything I said in conversation was considered stupid, or dismissed, so.... THANK GOD HE LEFT!! smile

I have made a promise to G to think about my heart and health before I go taxing myself and running when I'm sick, but I HAD to go this am. I was so f'ing done w/the attitude, and if I didn't... he was either going to see me cry (NOT HAPPENING) or I was going to say something to send him reeling.

So, I am back from running, and I'm fine. I am going to finish his f'ing checklist, do my own checklist, and let him handle the boys for lunch and dinner (HELL, NOTHING WRONG W/LEFTOVERS!).

I'm a pissy example today. No worries, I'll turn this around.

(HIS GOOD MORNING THIS AM WAS... "GOSH, I COULD SLEEP UNTIL WEDNESDAY!" Me, "So, go back to sleep!" He grumbles and stumbles into the shower.)

frown awe... I'm sorry for you yucky day! I had one too. it happens.

have you been direct and asked him what things on the list he could do? that you have as much as you can handle right now, so if there is something important on that list, it maybe better if he did them.

??

hey, and C, or whoever mentioned the sugar is right. I think that is the one thing I have done differently since H has been gone so much, and I have gained 5lbs. it really sucks. but it's so hard when I'm the only adult here.

there is a doctor, or scientist I watched on a video and he talks about how highfructose corn syrup is bad, but also says all sugar is bad, he broke it down by the cell and how are bodies use it, and it was almost identical to alcohol. He also showed why fat in our diet is important (good fat that is) and that low fat diets don't work because they typically consist of even more sugar, and fake sugar is not good either.

soooo, my thought...eat as many whole foods as you possibly can... oh, he also mentioned that we used to get over 100grams of fiber a day, and now we get like 10-20, and that is a huge problem.

I've got lots of work to do then!!! I was good during the summer when my garden was full of life, but winter has proved to be a horrible enemy!! Let me know mind if you notice a difference with your sugar intake. I do know this will make a big difference, and your going to have to be very very cautious of the ingredients. protein will be your friend. lol

btw, what website are you using? not sure if it would work for me since I make most of my own foods, so counting cals is always a pain.
