I hear you, John! I think that my personality is probably better suited to letting it happen 'naturally'. Not meaning I will just sit at home and wait for Mr. Wonderful to come ring the doorbell....
But as I get more involved in different activities around the community, I will be networking more and you never know what could happen!
Tomorrow is the big state speech contest, we are hosting this year in our brand new high school, which just opened in August. I am so excited! I will be going over to help set up after school, then I will be there from 7-7 tomorrow helping run the contest and support our competitors. Should be a lot of fun.
I kind of hate for it to be over after that, I have really enjoyed working with the high school kids and also hanging out with the other coach. He and I went to high school together and were in speech together so it has been a lot of fun catching up. We have similar senses of humor and the banter with the kids has been fun.
