You have my support, and my unconditional understanding. Even the Christian (and even the Christian pacifist) has a right to defend themselves, and their family, and I believe that is what you are doing. Even if I DIDN'T have that conviction from knowing your sitch (and I do), just the strong, careful, prayerful, and PATIENT way in which you have sought out your Answer, would lead me to believe that you were in God's will with what you have decided.
