Aver-wish I could help you! Do you think reading it will require your C? Can you wait that long? A cute sheriff serving papers would be fun but...you are doing good! You are strong! Many hugs!

Wait til then if you want. After all you ARE busy!! If X asks why you didn't reply sooner tell him that.
How does he know you're not out of town, or have so many social engagements that you just didn't have time to reply! You should relax & have a good weekend. And I should take my own advice! I'll check back. ((((Aver)))))
Dear friends- Just blogging here, no need to plow thru this and try to reply--
I haven't been able to check in on you and respond. I am so sorry about that.
Quick update, as I am currently sobbing into the towel:
I rode out a couple of roller coasters! Pearl would be so proud!
One was an email from X's mom. She hadn't written in awhile, which is good, because I know contact with her is not good for me, but I was hoping for intel. I thought her not writing me was indicative of the house battle--and of course she should root for her son.
Anyhow, she wrote with some news and blah blah and X will be visiting her this spring. She just wrote " X is coming out. for baseball???!!!" (she lives in Arizona, spring training). Duh, I want to reply: SweetThing apparently likes baseball and X wants you to meet her!" But I rode out the emotional roller coaster---I breathed, I said to myself, "no surprise, we knew he wanted to bring Sweet Thing out to meet Mom..."
And then X called at work today ( I saw the # and didn't answer) and left a message at the house: " I sent the email, said I could meet T/W/Th, let me know." And I rode that one out!!!
So I finally had a friend read his email, the one that said Re: the house, that I was going to wait til I was with my C to read, in case I needed to touch base with L sooner. All it said was "got the appraisal #'s wrong; the appraisal is at the house so I don't have access to it (duh! could ask!!) At the very least we can agree on the value of the house, let me know when you can meet."
Very different tone than his formal .pdf with terms and deadlines and such.
So I forwarded it on to my L; asked: what is the point of meeting? I will email X the appraisal; all negotiations at this point thru L? What would I possibly say in person?
Came back home from watching Oscars with friend (who read the email for me) and apparently didn't muffle the screams and sobs enough with the towel, such that a neighbor came over. And given that he is the weirdest neighbor on the block, not good, but sweet of him anyhow.
So--I rode out some roller coasters, but then got whacked from behind by the last car sneaking up on me. Nothing new in the email, or the news, or the expectations around the house--just the heartache.
Sorry to go on--I will check in on all of you as soon as I can. Too much GAL. really--I'm behind on everything!
(((Aver))) it is so painful. Let the tears and screams cleanse you...

((((Aver)))). I know, it's awful. I've been there too, luckily my neighbors arent' too close or maybe weren't home. Got to let it out. No worries on checking in, I couldn't either this weekend. Stay strong. Sending hugs & lots of support.
You're making it through the coasters and your allowing yourself to feel the emotions...you are healing- I wish there was an easier way...you are doing great and you will be GREAT
