Well, I am not a page 6 girl ~so a small update is in order LOL
Well, the D is still not final. Seems STBXH has the L that is doing the retirements quite confused and mislead (again) so hopefully that is straightened out and the documents are being drafted as I type. (One can hope) Anyway if we don't have it finalzed by March 25th we have to choose a trial date. Which since no one is contesting anything would seem very unneccesary. Is it crazy that an uncontested divorce (meaning we agreed on everything and no fighting, so just document drafting) is now upwards of 6,000.00? Crazy!
More crazy is I am paying for it!
Anyway, hopefully by the end of this week.
STBX finally got into town last Wednesday after being gone to the Olympics for the past 5 weeks. He called a total of 3 times while he was gone. He did not see the kids until Saturday, then it was for a 2 hour dinner. Wow, thanks for the help!
Also, I told him I would drive the kids up to Vancouver (3hrs) to visit him (since he told me, he can't afford the gas to come and visit while he was staying up there) he never offered onc for them to come up. Such a wasted opporunity since we live so close to the festivities. Anyway, if I had not seen my kids in 5 weeks I think I would not have waited 4 days since I had been back in town to see them. SAD
He called to say he would be late to that because he had to fix something on his boat first. Kids are always the priority. Haven't seen them in 5 weeks and got to this, that and the other first. It seems like the electrical almost caught it on fire! So burned up a bunch of wiring. Also, one of the motors has quit working twice and the bilge pump stopped working too.
Ahh Karma! I thought the boat was suppose to be cheaper! LOL
FFG and I are doing very well. I think that STBXH has said he will take the kids this weekend and FFG doesn't have his kids this weekend so I hope STBXH comes thru and visits his kids because MOM needs a break and it's the weekend before finals.
So, I may get a whole weekend with FFG and studying all to myself! Do I hear a WOOT WOOT!
I am trying not to get to excited though because... well... we all know what can happen when I assume STBXH is going to act like a father. pfffft!
