There was a message on the machine from the bank that H has his hot rod and dirt bike loans from wanting payments so he has not made payments....
This may not be DB protocol.. but I helpfully provided my H's debtors with his new tel#.. I thought it may be a way to let him feel "consequence"... It certainly made my home quieter..

I don't see anything wrong with providing the bank with H's number! I am reading what I typed about the message and I can't even understand what I wrote...glad you guys can read between the lines and typos!!!!

This is great advise DG. It is not enabling CF H but possibly helping him drop towards the bottom. Which is where he needs to be before he will start to recover.
Well, I have to admit I was doubting H's word that he was working OT last night since it is OW's weekend off but my friend who works there said that he did indeed work...shame on me for doubting!
Went out the garage freezer to get a package of deer burger and all the meat was pretty well thawed! Dangit!
I guess I am lucky after reading some of these other threads that H and I in n/c. and that when we do have to speak that we are civil and friendly. So many people on here have to deal with the nastiness! Of course I wish we were communicating but am trying to remail patient and keep busy!!!

Glad to hear youre doing ok, I agree at least H was never nasty to me although it did take some DB's a bit of convincing that he was just being civil even though he was also a little plot lost!

Hey LR! Well, just when I think my sitch is getting dull! My freind called me today to tell me that she got the dreaded phone call from the town gossip! She heard that H and I were seperated at the pancake feed (gotta love these small towns)! She also heard that he was living with a GF (not sure where she got that as, my friend, her H and I are the only ones in town that know that besides SS and family). The questions are going to start coming and believe me she is relentlss!!! Any advice on how to answer without saying too much???

This was one of my biggest 180's getting over the embarassment! But then why should I have been it wasn't me who left. I'd just go with the i'd rather not comment at this moment, as it's a private matter. You may have to perfect the walk away and dismiss them politely it's the only way, people will be impressed by your composure just focus on that!

CW - I live in a small town, too. LR has given you some good advice in what to say to them. I've found that it really doesn't matter they will make up their own stories about your sitch anyway. My attitude is: What you think of me is none of my business.
