hey, and quit trying to ruin the good things that happen. like when he came home early, but then you ruin it by saying he probably did that because he's going to be home late tomorrow.

take the good for what it is... GOOD, otherwise you will continue to keep yourself in negativity. besides, imho, it doesn't matter if it happened because of something else. they still chose to do a better thing so we encourage the better behavior. As we encourage the good choices, and make healthy boundaries and healthy consequences for the bad ones, the more good choices they will eventually chose to do.
