Wow - this brings back so many memories. I didn't recognize the change in clothes as MLC at first. In fact, I was so into the motorcycles (he bought me one too), the leather clothing, and the new Ford Mustang (he bought for me), the 1968 Mustang he bought for me...that I totally missed the MLC. Then a year to two years later came the OW and he started wearing the kind of clothes that she liked. Yuk!!! Fortunately, he is wearing more normal clothes for his age now...still sometimes the teenage pant style but it is improving.
BTW - the leather jackets are now hanging in the closets, "her" style of clothes are no longer seen in the house, and now he doesn't "strut" when he walks!
