Finally have set a time to do my taxes. Tomorrow night. It will be good to get those out of the way. The State has already announced that it may be slow getting refunds out due to the budget crunch. They did this last year too.
I am heading off to Branson Mo. in a couple of weeks for a couple of days with the kids. There is a Titanic exhibit that I have been wanting to see as well as a haunted house that we may check out. Mostly just wanting a change of locale. K may or may not be in the area at that time but that won't change my plans either way.
My beloved Jayhawks play their last home game of the year tonight. If we win, we will clinch the big 12 title outright, if not we may have to share it. My stomach gets butterflys just thinking about it!

I am even wearing red and blue but looking professional at the same time!
Branson is about 4 hours away. There are several things to do there besides the shows. I don't think the kids are wanting to do that really anyhow. This will already cost a bit since there are 5 of us but I haven't done anything for a while so I don't feel guilty.
I just want to have a good time with them and make some good memories.

Thanks!! Someone asked me the other day if I was going to watch with a group of people. I said no because then I wouldn't be able to shout and curse at the tv like I can at home. LOL
S17 is looking forward to the game while D9 just groaned when I said that was the game plan. Dinner will be fast and easy as I have a pot roast in the crock pot then I just to have to do the green beans and rolls, maybe 10 minutes max. Then I have to get my tax stuff in a bit more orderly fashion so I can give K all the numbers and not be searching for them like a mad woman and then the game is on!!

So I guess I am a bit slow. I knew that we were trying to get Google have us as a pilot for there faster internet speeds. As part of the quest we have temporarily become Google, Kansas. I heard something about it on Facebook and thought it was like for a day. No, it is for the entire month.
