LOL - Its definitely P90 right now - nothing extreme about me trying to get through the workouts!!! OH WELL - I'm going to look amazing at the end of 90 days - its worth it!!! At least they tell you on the video - don't expect to be able to do EVERYTHING right off the bat - its designed to be HARD!!

Good news - at belly dancing last night we did an actual dance - put all the fundamentals together - IT ROCKED!! I didn't look to bad if I do say so myself wink

90 Days from now I will be a whole new Talia physically - to go with my whole new Talia emotionally!!

Damn, Tal, I saw a commercial for POX or whatever it is one time and thought: wow!

I am in pretty good shape, but it looked brutal!

So--you purchase a bunch of DVD's and you can do it at home with home equipment? but eventually you need a pull up bar, right?

And then to try and go belly dancing after--time for the Vitamin I (as we affectionately call ibuprofen)

And SIX pairs of shoes? wow! As I wrote on pearl's alt page--I would LOVE pink patent leather mary janes--but where oh where would I wear them?

especially when my idea of a date is the "parallel" experience, as flowmom said--bowling, or pool, or walk--not face to face over dinner!

Enjoy the shoes, let me know more about the PSX!

Aver - You purchase the DVD set and it comes with the diet plan and all the workouts. I borrowed them from a friend because I spent all my money on shoes! wink The system is very easy to follow - the diet is awesome! You can get a pull up bar that goes over the top frame of any door - I noticed they sell them at the Walgreens by my house. I'll pick one up in a month or so...

The workouts are BRUTAL - but it feels really really good to work that hard! I couldn't work out today - I can barely move today - I'm going to do some pilates tonight - I hope that loosens everything up! This "pain" is only temporary - and it hurts so good! If I end up looking 1/2 as good as the people on the TV I'll be the happiest person ever in 90 days.

IC last night was interesting. She suggested that perhaps I should end my friendship with spy. Its doing me NO good and he seems to be making an effort to talk to me about H. I try to change the subject and he goes back to it. She feels that its a very one sided relationship and I need to seriously evaluate what I'M getting from the friendship. I was struggling with that question yesterday, as he kept sneaking into the conversation things I don't want to know about H. I finally stopped talking to him - He keeps upsetting me and making me over think things. Time for me to put some distance between him and I - better for my PMA. As I evaluated what I get out of our "friendship" its clear that I really get nothing from him. No need to keep that up!! The few benefits I DO get could be things made up by other people in my life with whom I share those connections.

Overall I'm in the middle of this place where I WANT to move on and move forward and just leave H in the past... BUT I'm also feeling SUPER bad about being divorced and losing the person I love. IC says that's totally normal and a good place to be... Moving in the RIGHT direction!

Have a great day everyone!!

Keep up the good work with P90X! I've finally stopped being sore from PB but continue to do it every day. Think I'll up my hand weights tomorrow. Then I won't be able to use my arms!

I agree with the IC, tal. Spy is not only not doing anything for you, he's hurting you emotionally. So ditch him and spend more time with other friends.

Forward ho!

I made my first clear decision to GET OFF the roller coaster today. H texted asking me to call him tonight about some bill issues, to which I responded he could call me after 8:30. The I STARTED to freak myself out about the WHY'S.... and then I realized I didn't have to let him freak me out and I Exited the car on the right hand side....

SMALL VICTORIES!!

Excellent. So that is an example of how not to get on the roller coaster??

I am really intrigued by the P90X. I have really "hit a wall" (thank you!) in my weight lifting. I look good, but nothing changes or gets stronger. time to shake it up!

It does sound like your spy isn't helping. If you can't get him to keep the topic off H, then do spend less time with him and more with others. As he is a friend, and this is a good time to keep all the friends you have--is it worthwhile directly saying: "please let's not talk about this anymore? How 'bout those Mets!"

If not, not. Be with the friends who help, not hurt.

And congrats again on STOPPING, REALIZING, and NOT getting on the roller coaster or any other amusement park rides.

AVER.... I recommend P90X ... Its exactly for people who have hit a plateau! Just be prepared - its tough!! I'm liking it though - and its only been a few days!!

I think I'll stay off all rides in general... WELL.. Maybe not a bull ride!! blush wink

H still hasn't called. Apparently whatever he needed wasn't THAT important.

Glad I didn't get motion sick for this one... grin
