I would check with your state payment center. Everything should have to be recorded by them as it is the only way that they know you are getting the money he owes.
I would think he would be in a load of trouble.

They have no idea what he's paying. The settlement agreement doesn't have it going through the state center, he pays it directly to me. My mistake, I shouldn't have trusted that he would take care of his child at the very least.
Jeff, the problem with the fee waivers......I make too much according to their calculators. They could care less what your cost of living is, only what your income is. The fact that my costs FAR outnumber my income is a non-issue for them.
I'm only half joking when I say I'm going to beg my boss to lay me off so I can qualify for welfare. I've never put my hand out for government help but gosh darn it, I'm just about to!!!
So crazy.

The forms for assistance? Really? Here they only want your income and how many people in your household that you are responsible for. Everything else is done on an average. Actual is never taken into consideration. Horrible.

I can't count my mom unless I count her social security income. Of course, her income is completely used to pay for her medical expenses (as it should be) but they could care less about that. No extraordinary expenditures count. It's a load of complete BULL! Of course, I watch these people show up at the welfare office in their Cadillac's and Mercedes wearing bunches of jewelry and walking out with large checks and medical care. WTH is that about? I really need to learn how the heck they work the system.

I understand then you also have to count her income. But does she really make that much? Or would your combined income be low enough w/ a household of 3? Especially w/o your second job now?
What's the fee waiver form number? I'm having a hard time finding it online to look at the guidelines.
Also, you can get an order sending his tax refund to you each year to help make up the money he is behind. You should definitely do that!
