It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be...not nearly as bad as I had prepared for---or worked myself up for. I liked her. She laughed at some of the things I told her H had said about how to proceed with the D. She had obviously read the chrono of events that I had sent her very closely and she understood quickly how I want to handle things for now. I could tell I had a BP spike while I was waiting for her in her office and had an instant headache when I left.....and now am exhausted. I got back in to town in time to take S11 home with me when H took D13 to SB practice. He didn't get here to pick him up until 9:00. He came in briefly (to make sure S got everything and to get D13's backpack) and was friendly. I was upbeat and positive......now time for bed.

Well.....didn't take long....he must be psychic. My e-mail this morning from H:

Would you give me the name of the woman you hired to represent you so that I can contact her and find out what other information she needs from me?

My L and I talked yesterday about the fact that I/she won't do anything until he files. And, I'm pretty sure she doesn't need anything from him..........I don't really feel like I can ignore this e-mail. I think I need to remind him that I will not be filing............but I still need his W-2 for taxes.

Please reread yesterdays posts especially the ones from DREW.

Nothing has changed in what you should do. Or did the L tell you something different?

Just thinking that I can't NOT reply. Thought maybe simply saying I need X to do our taxes, my L doesn't need anything from you.

And - my L only told me that I should do something different if my approach adversely affects the kids in any way----and I agree with that.

He is going to reply with what is name? You need to stick to your guns and tell him you do not want to incur any additional expense your L will be there when you need him/her.(not sure I would say her because that narrows down the field)

I'm thinkin that the ONLY concern you should have in the e-mail would be YOUR business at hand....

Simple and sweet....

Keep it to the taxes for now....

When the time comes ( after HE does his work)......SHE will find him....

Why do you feel the need to reply?

Everybody hurts. It's part of life. Don't miss the good stuff.
