That guy Charles Hamelin is a stud - 2 gold medals in such a short time. And his girlfriend and his brother got medals also. That must be a fun party at their family get together after the games.

Good thing that Canada and USA are not one country. The two North American countries brought in a boat load of medals in this Olympics. I suspect that the next winter Olympics wont be as advantageous. The strange feeling for me (and I am sure others like Apollo Ono) is that it does not feel like a foreign Olympics since I live so close to Vancouver.

I dont drink beer so I have a poor opinion, but I think there could be good arguments made for Labatt Blue, Moosehead, and Sleeman.

Here in the Pacific NW (Oregon, Washington and BC), the micro breweries are very popular.

John - are you going to watch the men's hockey gold medal game tomorrow? I think it is going to be a good game.

I remember back in the 2006 World Basketball championship...the USA team, loaded with NBA all-stars, lost to Greece in the semi finals. But they got revenge in the 2008 Olympics against Greece with a thrashing. I wonder if Canada has similar thoughts.

All very good beers but none fall into the microbrewery category...Sleeman started off as one but i don't consider it a microbrewery any longer....maybe moosehead.

Am I going to watch the game today???? Yep...along with probably 1/2 of the country....I have no idea what the other half will be doing. In canada this will get bigger numbers than the superbowl. I think this will be the most watched event in Canadian television history. The hype is huge and the media is playing up the revenge factor. If Luongo can play semi decently, Canada has a very good shot.

I have house cleaning to do, but I think that I am going to watch the hockey game between Canada and USA as I see they have it on broadcast TV here. If Canada wins, I may be doing my vacuuming in a thong.

Good game so far after 1st period. USA seems to be getting in more body shots and there was the one that stopped right on the goal line, but that dont mean squat. It is the puck in the net that Canada got that counts.

It still looks like anyones game.

It would be really cool if this game could get all tied up at 2 - 2.

The announcers say that USA is the home team because they have the better record. Looking at the crowd in the stands, it sure dont look like a home crowd for USA.
