(((((Michelle))))) You are so right! I wasn't expecting a tailspin, but I didn't think I wouldn't even think of it!
Kerry, the course was beautiful. I expect it's try of most PGA tourneys, but the fairways were almost like greens. And after it was over I walked next to a green, and the green make the fairway look long!
Casey outdrove Poulter by a lot, consistently, but his shots to the green were nowhere near as good as they should have been, given the position advantage he had. I think he should have been hitting at least two clubs shorter on almost every approach, and Poulter was still consistently closer to the hole.
Both guys moved right along after they hit, but the purposefulness in Poulter's walk stood out to me. He was hard to keep up with! I feel for his caddy, carrying the bag besides! Somehow he made the all pink look masculine. It would be fun to see the contrast of him and Tiger on a Sunday! Casey was a lot shorter (I think I read that he is 5'10" tall), and looked just like half the fans! Poulter, you could always find!
I can prove I was at the golf tournament yesterday! Well, kinda! I was watching my recording of the afternoon round from yesterday, and I can clearly see me at the back of the 2nd green! Well, not so much my face, but my hat, and my clothes, so I know it is me.
There are other places that I know I am in the gaggle, but I haven't picked myself out yet. Oh, if you are really wanting to watch the golf, TV is better. If you want to watch the players, and get a feeling for how the ball is really punished, it's better in person.
(((((kat)))))(((((mishka))))) Car is fixed, but one of the struts is bad. So it goes back in Monday morning for an hour or so. They said it won't kill me in the meantime. They had to order another one, so the day got too short.
I filled three bags with a pile of yard trash that's been out there since before XW moved, probably have three more bags to go. And I need to trim back the dead perennials, probably really too late, but better than never.
I also think I have two dead trees. One is in a place where there has already been one die, I think there must be something in the ground. The second one is kind of adjacent to one that died a couple years ago. I don't know what's up, I could see that they might be running into impenetrable ground, but I wouldn't have thought that would kill them. Oh, well.
