Mishka, weird in a way. Last week, I'm not sure what day, I got a letter from an attorney that wasn't mine or W's. I tossed it in a drawer.
In between parent/teacher conferences I was cleaning out my mail and figured I should open it.
It was a solicitation letter. It read, "I understand your wife has filed for divorce" and had a court case number. She was hoping to represent me.
I tore it up and called my aunt and started driving to the second parent-teacher conference. I couldn't look at W. She looked at me several times, but I just looked at the teachers or the paperwork in front of me.
