CJ came home with fixin's for dinner and flowers for me.. ...We hugged...conversation to be continued, but good to get some stuff out...for both of us.
Still feeling rather tired...swollen eyes don't help...any remedies for that?
Well, it's a busy day tomorrow...work, lunch with the folks (lucky CJ gets to instruct my Mom on how to use her VCR...AGAIN ), then it's shopping, trick or treaters, and CJ's sister's 50th birthday.
I think I may go as a kitti kat for Halloween...that okay with you kk??
Good Morning Shiny, Does anyone think that the downturn in our PMA's around here lately has anything to do with all the solar activity this week? (For the first time, I saw a Northern light display last night.)
I know exactly how you feel about the perfunctory ILY. In my case tho, they only came after I said it first. Didn't how it made me feel, so I stop saying it myself. Of course, the result was I don't here them anymore, but I'm better off not hearing it than hearing them without any real emotion behind them. However, CJ coming home last nite with flowers was a nice touch.
... and some pampering would have been nice when I was home sick on Wednesday. When CAW came home from work all I got was, "O, you're still home?"
I caught your comment on how CJ is not checking his email as much anymore. Strange to hear, because it seem to be a medium of communication you both were comfortable using to address the sensitive topics. Have you tried sending him an e-card. If he is struggle to get thru a course when he's not feeling well ... getting a "Hope you feel better soon" might perk him up and getting those kind of surpise might incite him to check at his email more.
It sounds like tonite should break the rut you've been feeling about the same ole, same ole each day. Is this feeling more pronounced between Monday and Friday? If so, what is there you can do to break the mid-week rut? Maybe, do something different one night each week ... one Wednesday evening go bowling ... next week play some pool ... or go to a movie ... etc.
If solar flares do affect us this way, no doubt kidney flare-ups must too. ... and as mention before, we are gonna have our ups and downs, but you've dun real good in putting much more up time between the downs. ... time enough to fill a couple of threads full of inspiration for many here. So try not to fret too much about getting down this week ... you'll be "On your way" back up in no time ... after all you're - Shiny!
KAW...do these posts just flow from your finger tips or do you sit and compose them for hours???
You have SUCH insight and SUCH a way with words...we HAVE discussed you being a writer before, haven't we???
Too funny you mentioning the solar activity...when my Mom started telling CJ how her VCR kept coming on by itself, my Dad (LOVE THEM!!) said..."Yeah, I told her it was probably the solar flares!"
(She'd accidentally set the thing up to tape the weather channel for 4 hours each day!!! )

I'm afraid I'm guilty of this...maybe that's just how CJ SAYS ILY...but my replies are pretty lame too...and in the past at times...absent altogether .
So maybe (a la Sage...didn't think I'd forgotten YOUR thoughts from last week, did you??? ) I should spice up my OWN ILY's, huh????

I'll say!!! ...and the unexpected grocery shopping. The flowers are LOVELY...deep reds and oranges, dyed wheat for accent...I have them in my favourite blue vase in our living room window...ties in the new red wall

GREAT idea...I've never sent anyone an e-greeting...wish I'd thought of it for Halloween!
Actually, KAW him NOT checking his e-mail (his course work is done on a bb similar to this with internal one to one messaging added) is kind of a mixed blessing...e-mail was one of "their" major modes of communication...part of the whole thing was him turning to the internet for companionship and ultimately more.....

Weeelll, seems I led everyone astray...tonight is handing out candy...CJ has a couple of assignments on the go. The party is TOMORROW night!! But I have my kitti ears on in case I have time to check out Pam's party!!
AS for the suggestions....I kind of chuckled (wearily)... You see of late I am SOOOO wiped out after work that the most I can manage is TV and BB...CJ generally works most nights on his course. But he DOES love pool and mentioned a few times a while ago how he'd like to shoot a game with me.....OMG do I sense some GOALS arising here???
Indeed I purchased tickets for a live stand-up comedy show (very rare here) for next Thursday...night before CJ's 42nd! (He loves stand-up too and was the one who drew this to my attention..I'm LISTENING!!!)
