I prefer sunflower seeds to nuts, but do have almonds in the house for snacking and almond butter for sandwiches.

Way to go on the walk! I'm thinking I should walk also but I did my PB class today and I'm still getting over the initial soreness from starting back up. I'll put it on the schedule for next week.

When I walk outside I just wear a base layer and outer layer plus wool socks. I think as long as you keep your extremities warm and wear a hat you're good if you feel warm when you get going.
