Good News and kind of good news

Well as I said W did not get the job. And Today I looked into the Government program on getting retrained. I was tired of waiting to hear from the job I took the exam for.
Found out some fantastic info. They will pay... (Not Loan) for up to three years of schooling. The councilor I spoke to also said that the private collage that I wanted to go to was covered in this program. He also said that with this program after I graduate and get a job if that job pays less than what I was getting paid at my last job that the state will supplement my pay for up to two years... AND while under this program I can get health insurance that is 80% tax deductable and cheaper that what I am paying now.
So I went ahead and sent the paperwork in. He said it takes about a month to process. I was really excited when I got home about going back to school but was worried what if I get that job now. I would have to decide between good paying part time jobs now that someday may lead to full time work or go back to school for two years and learn a new skill that I can use anywhere get good pay.
But I did not have to worry long. Later today I received an email that I did not get the job.
So it looks like the doc is going back to school. My next worry is that I hope I can start after our father son trip to Eureka. I told my son that if the classes start before we will not be able to go. He understands but I know both of us will be disappointed.
