New Post for Wifey

Its been a busy couple of days. I did our taxes on Monday, had class yesterday, and ran errands most of today. H called Monday, but I was in the middle of the taxes. I said hello and hoped things were going well. He said they were. I said, ok, I have to go and finish the taxes. Talk to you soon.

Had a text yesterday that he was on his way to buy more blocks for enlarging his Mom's patio. I didn't respond, because it didn't appear to need one. Today I had a text that the porch is done, Mom is happy. Again, I didn't respond. Its nice to know Mom got her porch a little larger. I just don't want to jump to text.

Texting gets old; if he wants to talk he can call. If he doesn't want to talk I will enjoy the sweet silence. I've been feeding the deer in my yard and I love to watch them. The birds are very active when its cold. It surprises me because I would think they would be hunkered down. Then there is the hours of homework.........

Saturday I am in a Scrabble tournament fundraiser for Literacy Volunteers. I am looking forward to it.
