Sorry if I have already brought this up, but have you read Why Men Love Bitches? Dumb title but good, simple book on how to put men into pursuit mode. Careful of the cooking according to that book. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure he loves it, but WMLB would put that in the "being the mommy" category (and you've already got that going on because you *are* a mommy). You want to be firmly in the other category until he is really preoccupied what the many "acts of service" that he could perform for you .
