I just can't decide what to get her,she wants bar stools for the house but I hate to buy anything for the house just yet. I will probably get her something nice but won't go overboard.I know what I would like to give her but she's "not ready". But I keep trying,ok women why would you move home and not be ready but yet everything else is married like?
Randy: I was questioning if you were going to buy her a gift not implying you should - that is your call.
Only she can answer that question but my guess is she missed you, the girls, the entire family package but perhaps doesn't have the belief in herself yet to really let herself go with you. Its a horrible feeling if you don't feel as a women that you are thought of to be sexy or appealing. I'm not implying she feels that way but if she does it makes one not even want to look themselves in the mirror. She has come so far don't scare her away!
Well she has gained some weight but I have never said anything about it and I always try to make her feel sexy. last night the girls asked her who she loved and she said you're dad,so later I asked her if that was true and she said I wouldn't be here if I didn't so I asked her why she can't say it then and she just said why do I have to say it can't you tell?So who knows.
Randy: She may be sexy to you, in your eyes her weight may be fine but unless she embraces herself and loves who she is she won't feel sexy trust me! I've been there and especially as we age and things get "displaced" it may be hidden by clothes but when everything is off oh boy our insecurities come rising to the surface!
As for the ILY - love language issue in my opinion - its a Love Language for you but necessarily for her. She feels she expresses her love to you in other ways - one huge one by moving back home.
It sounds to me Randy that your W doesn't trust herself not to jinx a good thing! Its gonna take time for her to become comfortable enough to let her guard down completely.
Had a great weekend,she is calling me honey and all sorts of good things.I get a kiss whenever one of us leaves now and by the way she let her guard down friday night,if you know what I mean.I really think I have pieced.
