Actually I kind of enjoy the winter olympics. Less steroids.....I think...
Do they not televise them in Greece?
Tonight's highlight will be a Canadian female figure skater who's mom passed away of a heart attack a few days ago. She had just arrived in Vancouver. Joannie Rochette has decided to compete to honour her mom's memory. I am sure NBC will be all over this one.
Womens figure skating is always a huge event. Coverage of the Rochette's will be very touching. I think the Korean girl wins the gold, but it would be awesome if Joannie can get on the podium.
Belurus and Swiss are locked at 2 to 2 in overtime.

This morning "Good Morning America" was already all over it. Sharing some of her journal entries where she said she relied on her mother to push her, that her mother was her biggest critic and always wanted more from her. I think it will be great.
I still remember when Dan Jansen (sp?) competed in speed skating after his sister died, and then he fell....I was so crushed for him!
