Tonight's highlight will be a Canadian female figure skater who's mom passed away of a heart attack a few days ago. She had just arrived in Vancouver. Joannie Rochette has decided to compete to honour her mom's memory. I am sure NBC will be all over this one.

smith18 Member S Joined: Oct 2007 Posts: 5,992	Womens figure skating is always a huge event. Coverage of the Rochette's will be very touching. I think the Korean girl wins the gold, but it would be awesome if Joannie can get on the podium. Belurus and Swiss are locked at 2 to 2 in overtime.

Sharing some of her journal entries where she said she relied on her mother to push her,that her mother was her biggest critic and always wanted more from her. I think it will be great.
