Getting Ready For Divorce

I actually don't know what she'll say in a week. She's so unpredictable I don't know from one day to the next what she'll say or do.

She takes her cues from her mom (the aforementioned grandma). They go trolling the bars and casinos together. They didn't do this tonight, however. Whether she's in an ongoing affair or not at this moment is something I don't know. Signs point to something that ended recently, but I don't care enough to check it out.

To be clear I would love to go to retrouvaille. I'm an atheist and total nonbeliever, but my wife spent her early years as a Roman Catholic and has fond memories of Catholic school, first communion, etc.. She also got several abortions, though, so whether the religious overtones will be inspirational or guilt inspiring is another question.

I do care about this woman. I could love her. She's the mother of my children. What she's doing is not safe, sane, rational or healthy and I would love to build a more functional and stable life with her.

And yes, the spitting was an allusion, though she has spat at me before.
