When doing laundry for the family got out of control (cloth diapering, etc.), I developed a new laundry strategy: Darwinian laundry. It's survival of the fittest in my house! If it can't be washed on warm and dried on hot, it's out. The only exception is wool, which I pamper a bit more. Needless to say I don't have any white in my wardrobe, and my clothing purchases are based on launder-ability.
Smart! ^
I've often said we should do the same with DISHES. SO many things in our house are hand-wash, drip-dry, etc. Waste of time and energy!!
