heading up tomorrow. going to read to kids at school (yay. so looking forward to that...really)... then MC... then I think it is bingo night at the school from 6-8... fun.
w has reservations about me staying there... understood. called a friend to see if I could stay there. last few times I was there it wasn't good-- despite me saying I was going to be good.
so my goals for this weekend are to be Jeff Spicoli... without the weed-- though in some ways I could probably use some. not that I smoke-- though I do believe it should be legal. not too many people go into stoner rages-- alcohol yes. the pot people just need better lobbiests I guess.
I do not want to be any cause of agitation.. I just want to be mr. laid back... no I WILL be mr. laid back.
but thank you again for that thoughtful advice. it was really cool. I felt like I was there.
lots of cool stuff set up for this weekend. will focus on them. will try to ignore their beautiful (sorry Cat... she is. can't ignore that!) mother when she's near me. not ignore... but not expect anything. just be nice.. but not too nice..
your welcome...Skype has helped my little tootsie roll get to know her grandparents since we are 4 hours away. Remember when only the jetsons had tv phones...pretty cool
Bradley - being a father is something that NO ONE can take away from you. Not MLC, Not WAW, nothing. Enjoy them buddie. I have three myself and before you know it they are off and no longer need dad. I've pretty much put my career aside to be the best dad that I can be and can tell you it is worth every min. No amount of money, can replace the look of love that child gives their dad. Remember that buddy.
Oh...an I agree with the legalization of pot (although I do not smoke).
