We have been having a nice relaxing week, Im so proud of H because even though he obviously must be very worried and stressed he has kept a lid on it and made our time together as pleasant as possible.
I have planned on going back to work (extra overtime) for a few days part time during my holiday time, I know I wont see any of the money till the end of Mar/Apr, but I want to show willing and understanding of how he has had to go to work at times when he doesnt want to, since I have been back to work I have gained a much bigger appreciation of what he has gone through working for our family all these years.. and if he gets a job in the mean time it will be more spending pennies for me lol!
Ive tried to keep a lid on my worries but the thought of losing the house which cant be far away is quite hard to keep under wraps..

I think it's great progress that he's attempting to handle his financial stress by keeping the lid on it and getting his stress out some other way. Hopefully he is not just bottling it! Congratulations also on positive outlook you have about perspective and the overtime. It can't be fun. Good luck!
Good LR-that OT will help with finances and show him that you understand! Hopefully you won't lose the house. Here, the lenders are really trying to work with homeowners now trying to help them keep their houses so hopefully they are doing that over there too!

You get five stars! You are doing an incredible job hanging in there for the M. You have made so many changes, including being willing to work as much as possible and having compassion for how stressful that is/has been for H all these years.
You two are trying to be your best selves to each other during a time of enormous stress. You're letting it bring you closer rather than farther apart, as money issues do for so many couples. Like you said, if you can get through this (and I know you will), you can get through anything!
Thanks H4L hanging in there is really the name of the game for the time being.. Lazy day today, its started snowing again so ended up snoozing on the couch for an hour! Going out with a work colleague for lunch tomorrow, H knows even refers to him as "my boyfriend" cos we get teased about it at work, when we go get the coffee together but we are just friends, one of those that you feel that you have known for years, but definitely no sex appeal lol! But oh the temptation to look drop dead georgous when H gets home from his escapades gotta keep him on his toes remembering I am woman first and a W second.

Oooh, a nap! Can't remember the last time I had one of those. A great thing to do on a snowy day! And good for you keeping up the GAL. Darn tootin' you need to remember you're a woman first and a W second.THat was one of your big lessons when H left, now you are keeping sexy sassy rabbit alive! H seemed quite distant yesterday, and I was too, keep thinking Im going down with some thing but so far so good! He finally came over for a cuddle about 9.30pm, but by then I was almost dropping off again.. He said he was going to have lots of stuff to get ready as he was off early, so he went to make his sandwiches and I headed upstairs to bed, folded his clothes up for him and left them on the ironing board.
He finally came to bed just as I was snoozing off lay there for a bit no thank you for me folding his clothes, me dying to say did you find your clothes lol but didnt.. Then at last he tugged my nightdress and pulled me into a cuddle..
Its coming yesterday I asked him how dinner looked in a cooking capacity and he said "beautiful like you"!
