Wow Kevin, I've got to say that took some balls. Laying them down right next to his like that, and the single red rose. I too am surprised that you got a positive phone call from that. This is more of the badass Kevin I like to see.

I tried very hard to not allow my pain, over her choice to leave me, to be reflected in my face, mannerisms or with respect to how I treated her. I gave her space and respected her choice to enter into a relationship with someone else. I never said anything bad about her boyfriend and was always there when he couldn’t or wouldn’t be there.

Friendship........empathy, being there without criticism, being non-judgmental.....this is unconditional friendship.

There will come a time when she realizes the the greener grass was a septic tank. And she'll call YOU and start whining about OM. Happened to me early in the sitch. This is unbelievably hard for all of us, but you're doing a great job.

How is the working out and going to Mass going?

Thanks Jon,

I am going to get started working out again today. Kind of slipped on that for a bit while trying to get the job thing nailed down. I got told today that my start date will actually be March 15th because they need more time to do the background check. So I basically have about a month to get prepared now.

I am going to mass regularly although I haven't been going to daily mass as I am trying to save on gas and it is down in Irving and I am up in North Addison. But it is going well none the less.

D8 got her blanket blessed by our priest which was really cool. He told her she had to treat it well now since it has been blessed and she is. She makes sure it is folded neatly each morning before she leaves for school now. That was very important to her. It helps her feel better when going to sleep at night now.

Wow, so a month off. And I don't think I will be getting any unemployment now since I am no longer looking for a job. But I have money in savings so I will be fine.

I will have to figure out what I want to do with some of my day each day now. I will be spending some of it studying, but not all of it as you need mental breaks.

I haven't heard from her since so I don't know if that positiveness is still radiating with her or not. I guess time will tell.

Interesting development. W had been telling me that she had joined the church quoir and had been practicing on Wednesday nights. I had made mention previously that I will come see her sing some time. This was a couple of weeks ago. She informed me tonight that her first performance in front of the church is this coming Sunday. I had not brought it up tonight.

I told her that I think it is cool that she is singing in the choir and I think she will do great at it.

Question... Was she telling me in hopes that I will come see her sing this Sunday? Or was it just a side note?

Things are going good. I have been taking care of everything I need to for the job. I have to go fax over a release form this morning to further assist in the background check. They sent me a bunch of stuff to go through online to get prepared. The benefits are great. I can't believe I am going to have benefits again. I'm excited.
