Had a great V'day... Gourmet chocolates, pretty pink, purple, and red tulips. Fine dining at an Italian Restaurant. Very, very nice. I let him come pick me at my house, so the kids got to meet him for a few minutes.
Just a good way to break the ice. I couldn't have gone out in a fancy dress on V'day without them knowing and I wasn't going to lie. So, he has met the kids.
Survived that, and the initial result was positive. Take it slow from there.
Interestingly, my L called today. It seems STBXH lawyer is sitting on his thumbs because (now sit down for this one) STBXH told his L and his L told my L who told me that STBXH said " He loves me and doesn't want the divorce." I seriously bust out laughting when she told me this.
I said "you really don't believe that do you? Don't you think he would tell me that and not a L instead. He is just trying to stall because he doesn't want to pay for it." I'm not sure why that matters though... because I am paying for it out of my alimony money.
Geesh.... he has also shared with our D that he has three girls stalking him (meaning ... they like him) and told her they are pretty and call all the time but he doesn't want a relationship at all. Why is he sharing that BS with her? Really the very few moments he sees them every week, he can't let the "stalker" go to VM?
