How are you doing today Jeff? Any improvement?

(((((mishka)))))(((((Michelle)))))(((((BobbiJo)))))

The pain is a little bit less today, or I am getting used to it. I try really hard not to cough! It hurts on the side, right at the lowest rib, and below it even. I have noticed that sitting for a long time makes it kind of ache, more than hurt. And of course, that's what I do all day!

I took some Ibuprofin last night, and that seemed to help. Though just being still on the bed may have had as much to do with it.

I do feel more flexible today, I think I could swing a club, once, if I had to!

Have you tried those Ben Gay patches? They make them in different sizes and you can put them where the pain is the worst. They also last about 8 hours which is a plus in my book.

Hope you get to feeling better.

Thanks for the kind thoughts! It's a little better again today, coughing still hurts, but not quite as much, and it is less noticeable doing "normal" stuff. My original hope of being better by the weekend may have been optimistic, but not by too much, I think. I don't think it will give me any trouble walking around at the golf tournament.

I can think of things that would hurt, but I don't do those things anyway! Darn it!

I realized this evening that Tuesday would have been my 25th anniversary, and I never thought of it. I was a little surprised.

And if anyone wants to see the weather I am having to endure, have a look at the Golf Channel's coverage of the Match Play tournament! smile I think it's on CBS Saturday and Sunday.

I need a couple days off to recover from this weekend!

A friend of both of us that we haven't seen since before S12 was born is in Phoenix for work, and came down to spend the weekend. Friday we are dinner at W's house, but didn't stay late as she had to work both days this weekend, and he is an expert at talking late into the night! Saturday, we had plans for a couple of different outside things to do, but it was cold (for here), and rainy most of the day, so we took a drive that at least net him see some of the desert scenery. Then we went to dinner with W's parents (he also got along well with them, they let him use their basement darkroom many, many years ago). Got home, and did the talking late into the night!

This morning we headed up to the match play tournament, it was a little cool off and on, but the sun was out enough to keep it pretty pleasant most of the time. But.... let me tell you a secret! When you go to a match play event on the last day, and you want to watch the golf, you walk! You walk a lot! I figure that we walked 8 or 10 miles, and I am whipped! But it was great fun. And Ian Poulter can wear all pink, and get away with it!

I was watching a bit today. What a beautiful course. I have a pink polo shirt and am now considering pink slacks. There is no better way to show the world that you are a confident man. I might even consider tutti frutti golf shoes to go with it.

Isn't it amazing that when we start to heal those little dates can slip by us?

Sounds like you had a very nice weekend!
