I hear you kat! Three weeks ago my S11 woke me up saying something I couldn't understand, so I followed his lead to the hallway where I heard running water.....water running in the bathroom out of a broken fitting.....water going through the bathroom floor, through the ceiling, through the lightfixture and drywall. I quickly got the water turned off and water sopped up with all the towels in my house. Insurance is going to cover most of the damage, but dealing with it all----on my own is something I know I can do (have to do). Still have to deal with the repair of the hardwood floor (which began to warp a week after the flood), even though I got the water dried up as soon as I could----but I know I CAN do it and will. I'm a Kansas native---we are tough!

And.....it seems there's always something.......
