I did the couch to 5k! it was tough the first week! shows you how out of shape I was, you only have to run 1 minute and walk 1 1/2 for 20 minutes. I thought I would die. lol

The boys brought me cards and Reese's Easter eggs (??? LoL Okay....), and H brought me a Jasmine flower arrangement for Valentine's Day (He said the cards were really picked over, and everything was a Bible verse, or not from a H to a W...)
I was going to cook dinner for everyone, but they have now "invited" me to a pro soccer game, and out to dinner afterward. They are SO nice! LoL
Laundry is DONE, if only for five minutes!

My H has a standing joke that he is "cheap", which he really is not, but is one to shout it from the rooftops when he gets a deal or something free.
So, we get to the soccer game, and while the boys have season tickets, my H and I do not, as we didn't know if we would go to that many games... So, I'm waiting in line to get our tix, while H is doing his talktalktalk thing to people we know in line, as well. A complete stranger walks up and asks my H if we need two adult tix, as they can't use them... LoL So, free tix for us...
Then, we get into the game, and sit w/friends (owner of the boys soccer club who have boys on both of our boys teams), and H's proudly displaying his free tix. The couple is laughing, and we all get involved in catching "free" frisbees that they throw to the crowd, catching "free" t-shirts, etc... H's living large now.... So, when the game is almost over, everyone is talking about going out for dinner. H tells the other couple that we'll take their family out (our treat) since he's had such an inexpensive Valentine's Day evening. All agree to go, and we do. So, after dinner H goes to pay the bill, and the soccer club owner had already paid when he went to the restroom earlier! LoL AND, before we got up to leave, soccer club owner extends an envelope to S12. In it is a personal invitation to be evaluated by the US National team selection committee. Soccer Club owner is employed by the governing organization, and is in charge of selecting up to two players per club to be evaluated (for selection to the US National team), and S12 is one of the two (no idea if he invited anyone else or who)!!! S12 will be S13 very soon, and with that comes big boy sports, I guess! Wow. Everyone beamed! What an honor. To just be invited! Makes all of my running around worth it!

ST, you're right... first week will probably be the hardest. I'm sore already! LoL
I think I'm going to d/l the Podrunner Interval one, instead, though... this one sucks w/no music! It's just a robotic guy, and then silence, etc... got me off the couch, though!
Just made a yummy lunch for "the men" and I, too... teriyaki chicken (grilled inside) and spring green salad. YUM!
Going to see Dear John tonight w/girlfriends. Excited!

you go girl!!! your doing so good! oh, and I just used a timer on my cell phone, no music. but my head is always spinning with info, so it's good to have quiet! oh, I forgot to mention, I kinda cheat because my big 75 lb boxer is tied to my waist. lol
hey, totally cool about s12!!! how exciting! and sounds like a fun night too. my H just txt me "happy valentines". but, I'm okay with that, we are WAY broke with him still laid off, and he's back in Wichita now. so it's all good, because at least now he is REALLY training, instead of putting in 1 hr a day at home.

ST - That's a big boy (boxer)!!! I take my (maybe) 20 lb cockapoo w/me... Today, he looked at me like... "WHOA! What's up w/Mom?!?!"
Glad to hear H is getting his training in! Tell him you have a friend who is willing to help crack a whip, if needed! LoL
Also, the girlfriends are going to dinner before the movie tonight. Normally, I would say I would just meet them at the movie, since the boys have soccer until 6:30pm. But, today, I'm checking on someone to drop them off afterward for me. Dinner w/girlfriends sounds like fun!
