Just something funny to add. W's Dad is a little off. He had a very messed up childhood. He was severely abused (both mentally and physically) by his father. He has severe depression, and was a alcoholic and drug abuser for most of his life (sober for the past 6 years or so). He is also a complete homebody and can't stand being around people for more than about 5 minutes. I think I have said about 10 words to him in the 14 years that I have been with my wife. SIL told me last night that they had filled him in that W wanted a D from me. His comment "I new she had mental issues from the moment she was born. Why didn't anyone listen to me?"
